“Season TWO” is the second educational program and project of the “UDP Association”. It aims to offer an extensive and complete training for the professional dancers. In order to enable dancers to join the program, the newly created “3 months INTENSIVE” program, completely integrated in the classes of the “Season TWO” program will be offered.

Start “Season TWO”: 12 SEPTEMBER 2022 

End “SEASON TWO”: 7 JULY 2023

Admission: by Audition and application only!

Audition: the Audition for the the full year of the “Season TWO” program will take place on Saturday 27 August and Sunday 28 August 2022.

Tuition fee: Sfr. 5`500.- (full, part or monthly payments are possible on request)

NEW “3 months INTENSIVE” periods:

1st Cycle: 26. SEPTEMBER 2022 - 23 DECEMBER 2022

2nd Cycle: 9 JANUARY 2023 - 5 APRIL 2023

3rd Cycle: 10 APRIL 2023 - 7 JULY 2023

Admission: by Application (Confirmation approval by Artistic directors). Same content as for the “Season TWO” program.

Audition: NO Audition is required.

Tuition fee: Sfr. 2`500.-

Application:

Please send your application to: info@unitydp.com. A complete application should include:

• photo and dance video (classical and contemporary, max. 3 Min. each) - mandatory, however if you are uncertain about it please contact us.

• CV including information on your previous dance education - mandatory

• Reference letter - optional

• Motivation letter (preferable in english and german language)- optional

Once you send us your application we will confirm the receipt of your application. Within the next days of your application you will receive additional infos from UDP including dates and details of the audition for the “Season TWO” program.

In case you apply for the “3 months INTENSIVE” you will receive the answer and/or the details of the program.

Provisional schedule

• Monday to Friday 8.15-15.00

• 8.15 - 9.15 individual warm-up/conditioning

• 9.15 - 10.45 Ballet class

• 11.00 - 15.00* Contemporary class / Workshop / Repertoire - classical and contemporary / Solo Creation and Choreography

  (Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday)

• 13.00 - 15.00 Health care/elaboration and mentoring of personal career plan

  (Wednesday)

• all dancers taking part in the complete “Season TWO” program will receive a professionally prepared “Portfolio” by DHK Productions including dance picture and a short video of their performances.

• Performance experience

• * 45 Min. lunch break

• Detailed program will be communicated to all participants upon admission

Content of the program

UDP aims to offering a strong and complete training. The program covers following aspects:

• Classical ballet / Pointwork

• Contemporary

• Classical and contemporary repertoire

• Solo creation

• Choreography by Filipe Portugal, Dmitry Khamzin and more to be announced

• Guest Teachers

• Healthcare (osteopathy and Physiotherapy)

• Studio time (for individual rehearsals)

• Photography and Video (for the “Season TWO” dancers)

“Performance”

As part of the “UDP education program”, multiple performances will be staged in various locations. All dancers will be part of the performances.
